Solar Canopy

This solar canopy was custom designed and fabricated to accommodate this specific solar array. Our clients knew what they needed for power and where they wanted it but needed a company that could accommodate a custom layout to facilitate the bifacial panels they were so excited to install. Bifacial panels are awesome! They absorb energy from the underside as well as the top to maximize solar gain in winter months when UV rays bounce off snow pack. Not only are they more efficient but they beautifully filter sunlight during the summer months to all partial shade. In this installation the shade generated is also protecting the bedroom from too much sun in the summer while allowing light to continue to pass through in the winter. Again, white oak throughout the structure offers incredible rot resistance and durability. We also built the bluestone patio and walls to finish off the back yard landscaping. Locally sourced bluestone, incorporates permeable pavers to allow adequate drainage and the placing of potted plants on the patio without water staining or pooling.
